Another Fresh one, made just 10 minutes ago. The Martians have taken over and Red Weed is growing everywhere, 'covering field and ditch and tree and hedgerow with living scarlet feelers, crawling, crawling'.

I found this pic of this scenery, placed a building in it, made the ground red and placed red weed on the building. Added some detail to the floor (it has like 4 different types of Red Weed all placed over each other) and did some effects and that's pretty much it. Not fantastic, but I'm happy about it

Thanks to a tip (Dankje Zu, ziet er zo beter uit :D) I've edited the image a little bit. The sky is now completly grey, I might be called an artist, but I know sh*t about the 'art' but it made a big difference, the blue just didn't look right, now it looks much better :)

Awsome :D Any specific version? Most fans of Jeff Wayne's version hate the Tom Cruise version and vice versa :P I like them both, they are just very different but really cool in their own style. I really like the way they made the story dark and sinister in the movie version. The idea of the story is really scary, humanity being 'extermenated' by another species. And in the Musical version they didn't make it that dark, but it is great entertainment. I've seen the Live show, and I don't know if you've seen it, but it is defenetly worth going to ;)

Oh, I have seen Jeff Wayne's Live Tour on June 30 2009 in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, and it was totally awesome to me! I loved every second of it. :D I got a USB-stick in a Fighting Machine hood shape, a WOTW T-Shirt AND a 3CD featuring THE ENTIRE CONCERT with the 3rd CD being exclusive Photos!

I've seen the Tom Cruise movie and it was good to me too. I also like the 1953 movie version and the Musical Version is a real masterpiece that lives on to this very day!

I'm personally a big fan of Jeff Wayne's version BTW.

Ha, of all the people that are fan of War of the Worlds, Here's another Dutch fan (I live in Bodegraven, near Gouda. But we'll just keep speaking english, sounds better :P Yeah, well I'm not a big fan of the original movie, it is ok, not bad and fun to watch, but the ending was to sudden. In the newer movie the Aliens are already dying when they enter Boston, in the older version it was like: 'Okay, we're screwed, this is it' and then BAM! they were falling from the sky :P But for an old movie it is cool.

I saw War of the Worlds in the Heineken Music Hall on July 1st, but my budged wasn't that big so I only bought a T-shirt, the USB stick was sold out and I didn't bought the live cd, wich I already regretted the next day. But I'm glad they return in a few months ( 24 and 25 November I believe) I still need to buy tickets, but I'm hoping to get tickets for both evenings.

I still remember (I had the Live DVD before I went to see the show) the first thing that I did when I entered the hall. I looked up above the stage to see if the Tripod was hanging there. :P I don't know why, but I saw the 3 feet and I was like 'Ooh yeah :D' And then the moment it came down It was just to awsome, the whole show was, but that part the entire hall was like 'wow' It was really cool :)
